CCA Community Bulletin – March 2022

March 15, 2022

Happy Spring!

As we embark on another year, there are great things in the future for the Cove Community Association. The CCA is here to serve anyone who lives, works, or owns property in the Cove School District. I’m happy to be able to act as president this year, along with some great folks who are stepping up to keep the CCA active. I want to give an enormous thanks to Cindy Edwards and all the people who have ensured the organization, and most especially the Cherry Fair, remains a vibrant part of our community. As we all know, this is a wonderful place to make a life and each one of us is a fiber in the fabric of this community. I am grateful for the beautiful tapestry of people that is Cove.

Sincerely,

Heidi Van Schoonhoven, new CCA president

What is Cove Community Association (CCA)?

The purpose of the Cove Community Association is to “assist in the development of public programs and services that enrich the greater Cove community.” We’re working on great things (read on), and if you have ideas and drive to enrich the Cove community, please join in!

Current CCA Projects

CCA committees are working on three important projects right now, and we could use your help! If you want to join in on these projects or start something new, please get in touch!

  • Cove Cherry Fair
  • Developing a community center
  • Create communication and partnership with the Cove Pool

How to get involved with CCA

CCA has a board of directors that run committees and help lead the organization. All residents of the Cove community are welcome to attend CCA meetings and join in on the community work. Our monthly meetings are the first Monday of the month at Ascension School from 6-7:30. You can also join the email list by contacting secretary Nella Mae at nella.m.parks@gmail.com or searching the “cove-community-association” group at groups.google.com.
